Not only did I go to my regular job--and catch things that should never have made it out of the studio to proofreading, and that aren't actually in my job description (I'm the closest we have to a horticulture expert)--I did freelance proofreading; sorted things out with the other head of the freelance client (it's different jobs, and different rates, but for the same company); and stopped off on the way home for groceries and cooked dinner.

I also had a very pleasant lunch with [livejournal.com profile] filkerdave, with a helpful waitress who, once he'd asked whether the lentil soup was vegetarian, made a point of warning him that one of the sauces she brought with our meal was meat-based.

The refrigerator has had a spontaneous remission, but the super was not fooled, and has arranged for a repair person to show up on Wednesday.
