The bad news is, no paid work, and no recent progress on my novel.

papersky's latest novel within the time she asked and sent back comments that she said are useful, and I cooked dinner last night after cattitude decided he didn't feel up to it. A fine curry--light cream really does work a lot better in that sauce than milk does. I've also done a bit more scrubbing in the kitchen, and brushed the cat.
"Life goes on, even though two-headed and glowing faintly in the dark." The hard part is depicting that without veering to either banality or an overemphasis on the extra head and the faint glow. (Yes, I started writing about housework, and ended by discussing genre fiction.)
