I've sent in the revised prehistory chapter. Shorter sentences (which was largely a matter of taking out colons and semicolons, and making the things after them into separate chapters), more boldface, and new material on Australia and on Clovis (early North American site). I really hope they're satisfied and I can do something else now, instead of being asked for another revision based on new requirements from the eventual client.
I also had a brief, odd conversation with Rafiq this morning--the phone rang and I said hello, a voice said "Who is this?" and I said "No, who are you?" at which point Rafiq recognized my voice, and I recognized his when he said my name. He said he was updating his phone book and had called me by mistake. Yet another bit of evidence that they're not very well-organized.
