I took the wrong bus, but not badly wrong, and the driver kindly stopped to let me out at 236th, which is not a normal stop on the Bx20; I got to the doctor right at 10.
Instead of my regular doctor, I saw the other doctor in the practice; he seemed more hurried, but competent. He asked a few questions, checked my temperature, listened to my chest, and diagnosed bronchitis. I have a prescription for 10 days of Bioxin twice a day (of which I have taken the first dose), advice to take the cough syrup I'd tried before, and instructions to come back if it's not better when i finish the antibiotics. And then he was out the door before I had a chance to mention the burn, but since that was at the "as long as I'm here" level of importance, I didn't go get him to ask about it.
Still, I think next time I'm going to make a point of seeing Dr. Kump, if possible.
