I made myself a late lunch--vegetable soup, bread and butter, orange juice, simple and nourishing, suited for a person with a cold.
Sat down, reached for the soup spoon--and knocked half a bowl of soup over, onto the table, me, and the floor behind me. Aaack! Dashed into the bathroom and ran cold water over my right leg for a while, then switched to an ice pack.
Casual (semi)nudity has its drawbacks--denim would have been some protection for my skin.
It was good soup, though.
