I've sent info to some kind of editing/proofreading agency, and we'll see if they're interested. They got, along with samples, a note that one recent project is under an NDA and that I can ask for it to be lifted if our discussions reach that stage. But they want to do everything online, and the proofreading I did for that job was on paper, at the request of the author (who emailed me PDFs).

I also attempted to apply for an in-house job, and after assorted rigamarole and turning on Javascript and all, wound up sending email to webmaster@<that domain> explaining that requiring people to fill in a password when they have clicked on the "I forgot my password" button is not useful. If s/he doesn't reply, or doesn't exist, I'll just give them a new email address (since I have an almost-infinite supply thereof) and try again.

Meanwhile, I have 27×5 support points, and am #77 on the high score list. That and a Metrocard will get me on the subway.

Now for lunch and a trip to the gym.
