up too early

I was awakened by the phone, at about 20 after 7. I almost buried my head under the pillow, but I remembered that we'd agreed that L would call us this morning to make plans, and I didn't realize how early it was (she wouldn't call at that hour sans emergency, and maybe not with one). I got up and to the phone after the machine had started to record, and found nobody there. Okay,a wrong number. Back to bed.

Back to bed is easy. Back to sleep didn't happen. So Artemis has had a lap to sit on, and I've made some tea.
