I have sent out a resume this morning. Trying for one a day seems useful.

This is a freelance possibility, which isn't ideal--I want benefits, paid vacation, and some long-term stability (hah!). But it's editorial work.

I knew I'd been slacking when I went to enter the one from Wednesday in my file of jobs applied for, and it wasn't in the recent documents list Windows keeps. Must try harder. Probably good for me, and I can't get jobs if I don't look.

Fruits and vegetables: a pickle here, a peach there, as the seasons turn. Pickles are half-sours from Russ and Daughters, a bit of an indulgence (not cheap) but half-sours are both of our favorites, and less common than they ought to be. The peach was snagged yesterday, one of two that seemed ripe that I found in a huge pile of California peaches at Fairway. The pickle was better than the peach: no surprise, cucumbers are less seasonal.
