Since I got up for work this morning, and will tomorrow.
The job is basically straightforward, and more interesting that I'd expected: not entirely proofreading, since sometimes I get to come up with the missing word in a case summary.
I stopped off after work, got a pair of shoes of a kind Elly recommended when she visited last, and sandals because it turns outthe man from the cat detector the shoe saleswoman was lying. Clark's have not discontinued the basic sandal I'd worn out two pairs of. So I bought a pair.
On the way home, found myself thinking "I just spent my day's pay on shoes!" (Somewhere over there, Felix is laughing at me, or smiling ruefully.) Slightly more than, actually--especially since I have to pay taxes on the income, though not on the shoes.
Okay, chocolate, feed the cat, brush teeth, set alarm, and dreamland.
