I posted about the (below-mentioned) lack of programming info at MilPhil, to rec.arts.sf.fandom, with a copy by email to Laurie Mann, who is running programming.
I had a reply within minutes. It said that this was Steve Stiles's department, take it up with him.
I emailed Steve, and asked a bit more about the panel. But the head of programming, informed that she is missing information about an area of programming, shouldn't go looking for the Somebody Else's Problem field. She should be writing to Steve, or calling him, to get the information, now that she's been made aware that it's missing.
Oh, well. I have enough friends who are going that there will be things to hear, say, and do; there's good food nearby; and if it's too horrible I can always come home early, though I promised Geri help with a party Sunday night.
I'm going to go ease my spirits with cats and chocolate.
