This is the first PT session that hasn't included ultrasound, because when the therapist did the "does it hurt when I press here? How about here?" thing none of it did. So, lots of exercises, and ice massage at the end. (We increased the weight on the shrugs; increasing the weight on the lateral raises was obviously, after one repetition, a bad idea, so left that where it was.)

A few months ago, my doctor confirmed that what was bothering me was my right rotator cuff ("confirmed" because I had a hunch that it was an old injury, for which I had PT quite a while ago, acting up). At this point the therapist says the pain is other nearby bits of the shoulder; he has me doing a variety of strengthening exercises (which I have posted about, mostly behind cut tags, along with other gym/weight-lifting/resistance training stuff), icing, stretching, and until today ultrasound. It's possible we'll do ultrasound again at my next PT session, depending on how I'm feeling: the shoulder, which was fine this afternoon, had been bothering me on Tuesday.
