Well, I finished the one-page test for that rewriting freelance job I'm interested in, and emailed it a few hours ago. (It had to be in by tomorrow morning.)
Then we scrounged lunch--bread and butter, cucumber, some pickled herring--and wandered out for groceries. I had a headache, so I came back and spent most of the afternoon napping in the air conditioning.
Not a terribly productive day, but enough.
