Praise then darkness, and creation unfinished

This chocolate-covered ginger is only okay: the pieces are small enough that there isn't room for much ginger relative to the chocolate. There's a candy shop I sometimes go to (Varsano's, I've mentioned it here, it's the place where the owner always asks after roadnotes) that has big pieces of candied ginger covered in dark chocolate. And it's better chocolate. They also cost about six times the price, so that's more of a special indulgence.
