Not much to say about this one: sweet, reasonably crisp, and quite juicy, but not as flavorful as a Mac or Gala. I probably won’t get them again, certainly not this year (the macintosh and gala crops are both fine), but we have one left (we bought two on Saturday, to see what they were like) and am likely to eat it if [livejournal.com profile] cattitude doesn't.

They're smallish, like an average-sized macintosh, and look a bit like a mac: the skin is mostly the same sort of red, with a few yellow bits instead of the areas of green you sometimes get on a mac. I suspect it has macintosh in its ancestry (I don't remember if the sign at the Greenmarket said anything about its background).
