As far as I could tell from outside the room, Zumba refers to a kind of aerobic exercise class with vigorous and enthusiastic line dancing to salsa music. I think other kinds of Latin music may be involved as well, and I don't know if the dancing has to be line dancing. I believe it's required to be loud and enthusiastic, though.
