Memo to self

Do not put on Boiled in Lead while naked--that way lie unpleasant quantities of bouncing and possible splinters.

Yeah, when you said exercise made you feel more alert, I wondered if dancing to music would make a quick at-home pickup, but ... splinters?!?!?!

I had a Boiled in Lead CD ("Orb") out from the library recently.

laughing!

then smacking forehead, wishing I'd known what Boiled in Lead was years ago at Wiscon, and bought the CD.

Very cool! (Boiled in Lead and nude dancing, not splinters) :)

I had never heard of that band, but I just went to their website and found out that one of the guys in the band is also in the Three Mustaphas! Yay! And I also have an instructional doumbek VHS tape that he (Robin Adnan Anders) released where he plays the drums beautifully and talks really, really slowly. :)

I should really send you and [livejournal.com profile] cattitude a nickel for every time you introduce me to something really cool. You guys would be really sick of Jefferson's face very soon... :)

A hoot!

Someone reposted this (unattributed) to the Leadheads list, and I wondered if I knew the person. (Happy for joy and BiL in any case.) Glad you've suffered no permanent damage.
