sweat

The snapdragons are doing well, so I bought some more, for the second tree and to fill in a few gaps at the first. These are mostly yellow; I think there are some pink or magenta, but they haven't opened enough for me to be sure. With any luck, the colors will work together. This time it was a whole $1.60 per four-pack, for a total of $4.80, plus an extra dollar for some worm-castings to add to the rather sad soil I'm working with. (What I'd like to do is plant the thing in clover for a year or three, but that doesn't seem to be available in the places I'm shopping, or in small quantities.

Before that, I went to the gym. Much weight-lifting, mostly at satisfying numbers (I'm particularly pleased to have done three sets of leg presses at 160 pounds), and a whole half hour of cardio.

A sweaty day, so now I will sit quietly at my computer for a while.

I should, at some point, join a gym again, rather than just doing pushups, stuff with the dumbbells and running.

Too many things to do, not NEARLY enough time.

Worm-castings are good!

And so is clover. Also, alfafa, lupins... there are several other leguminous 'green manures' which you can plant, and you should be able to get them by mail-order if USA post isn't yet being irradiated?
