Not sure if this'll do for a userpic, but I found a piece of the Mandelbrot set, via jerusha, who got it from browngirl:

This is my little bit of the Mandelbrot set. I got it from the mandelbit generator. You can get one there too.

Betsey's is prettier than mine, but mine is nice and purple.
