Odd phone calls

Someone called last night, I said hello, she asked for [livejournal.com profile] cattitude (by his usual nickname, not full name or "Mr. $his_last_name"). He talked for a bit, then hung up, and said she had claimed to be "the woman of your life." She called back twice more, in quick succession: either we've got a very odd prank caller, or someone gave Cattitude's name and phone number to someone he had a quick fling with. In a taxi.

The fourth time the phone rang, I answered, immediately said "Please send a large pepperoni pizza," and hung up. It didn't ring again. Thank you, Bill Watterson.

The mind boggles.

Wasn't that the plot of a Bill Murray movie?

How... odd.

Erm, perhaps a stupid question, but can telephone numbers be 'construed'/found/whatever when someone has ones ip address?

That would require someone to have a static IP address associated with their domain name and have that phone number be listed as the contact number for said domain. Then, [livejournal.com profile] cattitude would have had to have used his nickname when registering the domain.

But did the pizza ever show up?

I never do this. But I'm commenting solely to tell you that I'm completely in love with your icon.
