Errands accomplished
Packages have been mailed (two things we had to return because defective, one a book (
cattitude's) with a mis-collated signature, and one a used Palm Vx that goes dead once hot-synched. Stamps have been bought, as well; in mid-transaction, the clerk looked up, said "Quisiera..." [1], stopped herself, and apologized; I noted that while I could handle Spanish, slowly, I prefer English. I was surprised because it was mid-transaction, and we'd spoken English until then.
I have fresh rye bread. I have shrimp, to cook for dinner.
I came home from my errands, had breakfast (a bit late), and have called my GP to ask about the MRI referral (I have to call back later, after the receptionist has a chance to ask the doctor about it).
[1] "Would you like..." (or "I would like", depending on context).

I don't know if you'll have to drink the evil lemon-flavored contrast solution, but if you do, avoid my example. Do not pretend you are in a beer-chugging competition; do not "go for time;" do not think that if you can get it down fast enough it won't taste so bad.
Also, sneaking into the bathroom and flushing it down the john is Right Out. Not that I did that, but I certainly thought about it.
