This is why when I get anything from film people, I hide it until it's too late to reply and then throw it away. Because I might need the money, but I wouldn't take it from people who wanted to put nails into my head either.

That's a particularly good imaginary example of studio inanity, not just for utterly missing the point of the book, but also since as far as I can tell, the adolescent male demographic does dig chicks with swords.
