More good news
The major good news is that I heard from my doctor: the ultrasound is normal, and the additional view X-rays also look good though not definitive: there's some nodular tissue but apparently no distinct nodules. Nonetheless, she suggests that I take the X-ray films to the breast surgeon she gave me a referral to, for a second opinion. She says that most likely that second opinion will not lead to his recommending a biopsy; my only hesitation (other than the inconvenience) is the thought that he may be biased to recommend a biopsy because the insurance company will pay him more for biopsies than for looking at X-rays.So that's major relief.
The minor good news is that
julian_tiger will not have to flatter the king: yes, our fine omnivorous tiger-pup eats lentils.

Our tigger-cat loved brussels, peas, oat cookies, jam and chocolate. I was too young to realise that he should be moderated in these passions, but he still lived to a ripe old (chubby!) age :-)
