I did not like my potion; what on earth kind of substance is a 'cloudy solid'? But when we are mixed together we give people the power of shrinking and growing; unfortunately this reminded me of the recent post of [livejournal.com profile] rysmiel's on the subject. An image I was already trying to forget.

Ooh, good point. I hadn't thought of the swirly stuff in opal as cloudy, I think mainly because there is already the word opalescent. But I like my potion better since it led to your pointing this out to me. And good counterexamples are always a good thing!
