annoyed about MyChart
The results of yesterday's pulmonary function test aren't on MyChart, and neither is the negative result of the sputum culture.
I do have a printout of those results, so I just sent Carmen (my primary care doctor) a message summarizing it, to the extent I understand it. I also told her what Dr. Koster and I decided to do (continue as I was). The "after-visit summary" says nothing about the PFT, although it includes my vital signs as well as a list of upcoming appointments, medications, and allergies.

Similarly, if the after visit summary is lacking items it is because a person left them out.

I know that those pulmonary function test numbers are in the Mount Auburn system, both because the doctor had them in front of her, and because the tech handed me a printout of them, with my name, the lab name, and the date. Similarly, when I asked the doctor about the sputum culture, she told me that it didn't find any of the mycobacteria they had been looking for.
And some humans made the programming decisions that led to an "after visit summary" printout with three pages of blank entries about "advance planning directives," along with six non-blank entries, three of which look like "document type: other, ... status: not received, ... received date: 02/12/2017," each with a different date. It also says that I have a "Massachusetts health care proxy" with the status "yes, not on file" and a received date in 2017.
