An unusually good thing from cattitude's subscription snack box: Vestky brand "caraway pretzel bites." They taste remarkably like rye bread, despite not containing any rye: I think it's because I haven't had a lot of foods that fit in a "savory baked thing with caraway seeds." Less crunchy than American pretzels, and crisper than the crust of good rye bread. (The comparison is German Jewish rye bread, rather than the denser Scandinavian rye bread.)

These are from Czechia, and the very small print on the bag invites me to order more from Universal Yums (the snack box company in question).

... probably not worth going out of your way for, but if you're going to be in Harvard/Central/Porter/Davis anytime reasonably soon, would you like the rest of my packet of them? Each of the four people who split our box tried them and none of us liked them, and I've been trying to figure out something clever to do with them since, as usually one of us either does or knows somebody who definitely does.

I'm going to be in/near Davis Square next Friday: I have an in-person appointment with my doctor at 1:30, and their office is near Diesel. (I have no current plans to be on that side of the river--or anywhere in particular other than home--before then.)
