KN95 mask fit

Either the earloop-style Powecom KN95 masks are too small for me, or I had one ear loop badly tangled with the left arm of my glasses. The latter seems likely, since the loop on my right ear was only mildly annoying. (I pulled it out after deciding it was time to replace the N95 mask I'd started with, after taking it down to eat ice cream, putting it back on, repeat.)

I'd brought this mask with me because I wanted a spare N95 or KN95, and it fold up significantly smaller than the duckbill-style N95s, in part because the unfolded mask is smaller.

Have you tried the 3M Aura 9205+ N95 masks? Bartell's handed them out free a few weeks ago, so we tried them. They seem more comfortable and closer fitting than the masks we had used before, and they come flat and can be folded back to flat.

After the sample masks, we bought a bunch.

That's what I'm using right now, too. My glasses don't fog! Home Depot seems to have a reliable supply of them.

Huh.... if your glasses don't fog I should try them!

Have you tried any of the devices to get the loops off your ears, e.g. a paperclip to pin the loops back or one of those straps/crocheted things with buttons? I find they help both with fit and eliminating that sensation on the back of the ear.

Got it! And yes, I do the same thing re ear loops and masks and haircuts. Unfortunately, my favorite hair cutter is in an area of NJ where they gave up on masks as early as they could - and so folks would look at me VERY oddly if I came in wearing one. That plus the really long drive gives me pause, to be sure.... though folks are quickly abandoning them here, too. Which Sweetheart and I refuse to do.
