It's very odd, comparison shopping for an abstraction.
It's time to renew my very own Internet domain. NSI charges too much, and they're stupid obnoxious unprintable spammers besides. But where else to go?
Everybody and his uncle is boosting Tucows, except the people who provide my forwarding, because they've got a deal with someone else, and are offering a bargain.
Or I can pay in euros, to a company I like because I found them online and they aren't shouting for attention. Maybe it's just style--they do make the case for themselves as a good place to register a domain--but they do it calmly. And the price is good.
