When everything is an emergency, nothing is.

I have reached the point where I don't want to even read anything marked "urgent"--there's too damn much of it, and almost none of it is addressed to me specifically.

I just created a filter in Thunderbird, to delete anything with "urgent" in the subject line. (This will cut it down but not to zero, since I sometimes look at email using my phone.)

Yeah, my email folder marked "urgent" is treated the same way as Arthur Dent's urgent folder
