Promising news on Soren

[livejournal.com profile] elisem has posted the latest, which looks like good news, in several places, including a comment to my previous entry. PNH called her and asked her to spread the word. The short version: he is aware, the blood pressure is coming down, recovering will take time but looks possible.

Another Soren update

Again, passing something along from a comment in [livejournal.com profile] coyotegoth's journal: [livejournal.com profile] eleanor notes that with meds, they got his blood pressure down to the vicinity of 117/75, and while it's not entirely stable, the spikes are "high normal," and they are reducing the medication somewhat.

That's all I know for now; I will pass along any news as I get it, but watching this Making Light thread and/or Coyotegoth's journal would be a good idea, because you may be online when I'm not.
