The problem with my library book is page 37.
It's not there.
This is a paperback. When the clerk brought it to the front desk, I could see that the book wasn't in great condition. What I couldn't see was that there's at least one page missing. I discovered that when I got to the end of page 36, and the material on the next page wasn't continuous. It's not continuous because it's page 39.

cattitude's branch library owns a copy of this book, which was listed as on the shelves as of yesterday afternoon, so I asked him to pick it up for me. Once he has done so, or in a few days regardless, I will return this one.
Fortunately, I have two, no three, other library books I haven't started.
