redbird: a red bird: tattoo of a cardinal (tattoo)

Thinking vaguely about a new tattoo

By vaguely, I mean I'm thinking "another tattoo might be nice" and even, occasionally, "I could look at that shop's portfolio," but I have no idea of what tattoo/image I want, or where on my body I want it. But I did think, yesterday, that it might be nice to see if one could be done all in colors, with blue or purple instead of black for the outlining.

More trips to doctor's offices

(as distinct from visits to doctors)

Today, I went up to my GP's office to get the referral form so my insurance company will pay for the orthopedist visit. After making me wait almost a week, they handed me a referral to the wrong doctor, someone with a vaguely similar name, but who I'd never heard of and doesn't even practice in the same county as the person I have an appointment with. So I got to wait around while they redid it, and womanfully refrained from asking why, if they could get it done in 15 minutes today, I couldn't have had it Monday or Tuesday.

The good news is that I have my paperwork, I have a few nice black plums and a loaf of challah, and I had a nice cup of chocolate gelato before taking the bus home.
