I go hunting around the Web, and find random facts that, well, I'm intrigued or amused by. For example, the most densely populated city in the United States isn't New York: it's Union City, New Jersey. Testimony to the arbitrarines of borders: five of the top ten are in New Jersey. (http://www.demographia.com/db-2000city50kdens.htm.) I was, of course, looking for something only vaguely related.

heh, and my very own somerville, mass, clocking in at #5 (with cambridge at #10 -- my house straddles the border between the two). all those damn triple-decker houses packed in ten feet apart from each other with no front or back yards. crazy.

i miss minnesota sometimes.
