The pictures of Julian with slightly singed fur

He's looking better already, because cattitude brushed off some of the schmutz.


He seemed unperturbed when I took photos, since I had the flash off. Yes, the first two are very similar, as I took them very close together. The paler one seems like a better photo except that it doesn't get his color.







The third is a slightly cropped version of a photo from a different angle.

One of my cats used to brush her tail along the gas fire. We finally concluded she liked the singed smell.

Terry, who was always very cold, once singed her whiskers on a hot bulb. She liked to curl very near any lamp because of the heat.
