I suppose if I were given one chance to travel anywhere into the past I'd have to use it for something socially responsible. But if I were sent back and *didn't* get to choose the time and place myself - well, I wouldn't be disappointed in the least to find myself on New York's Fourth Ave. or Philadelphia's Sansom Street in their bookstore heyday.
