another day, another $140
I put in seven hours at the National Law Journal today: proofreading in the morning, and doing weird things with a file (which is being kept in Excel for no obvious reason, since it involves precisely no number-crunching, not even addition) to make it easier for an indexer to work with. Tedious, but I need the money.
Having worked only one and a half days this week, I should get some money from unemployment insurance, anyhow. And there's more work at NLJ, for Monday and least and maybe straight through till Minicon, which would be nice.
