I spent most of yesterday doing proofreading for science textbooks, because there was a lull in my own project (we've sent a lot of things to Production and are waiting for them to be [in those cases necessary] laid out, typeset, and returned for proofreading). Then I went to the gym; a decent workout, given a week between visits. On the way home, I found and brought home a new humidifier, the previous one having died after less than three months' use. We considered that it might still be in warranty, and decided we didn't care, because they'd just send us another of the same somewhat annoying design.
Cardio, 17 minutes, top heart rate 135
Vertical chest press, 60 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Calf machine, 75 pounds, 13, 6; 70 pounds, 7. Enough of an incipient cramp that I didn't try a third set.
Wrist curl, 30 pounds, 2 sets of 15
Leg press, 270 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Adjustable row, 80 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Crunches, 4 sets of 20
Back arches, 3 sets of 17
Tree, 4 sets of {2 on each leg}
Hip adduction, 100 pounds, 2 sets of 13
Hip abduction, 50 pounds, 13, 7. A low weight to get re-accustomed to the motion, after recent hip pain when doing that exercise. Stopped when it started to hurt.
