redbird | Money: impulses and good sense

I have a definite impulse to spend money, the last week or so. This may be connected to having paid off my credit cards.

Thus far, I think I'm channeling it in sensible ways: for example, I've expanded my order of

joedecker's delightful holiday cards, and bought a hanging shoe bag, a thing I've needed for a while. I also bought some slippers just because they were purple, but they were also fairly cheap.
