What I'm saying--and, like tnh, one of the things I resent about the Bush administration is the way they make me feel like a crazy conspiracy theorist--is that, if Bush keeps the presidency, I don't trust them to hold an election in 2008. Much less, if they do, that it will be any more meaningful than the sort of rituals in which the ruling party gets 99.7% approval, and there is no opposing candidate.
