Voyager interstellar mission

JPL has found a way to further extend Voyager 2's interstellar mission.

Everything they've done with Voyager since at ;east 1989—the Neptune flyby&mdashis a bonus, compared to the original mission plan, which was focused on Jupiter and Saturn, with the hope that the spacecraft would still be able to observe Uranus and Neptune and send that data back to earth.
