am I buying too much?

I'm having a definite impulse to buy things, lately, meaning almost everything has been mail-order. So, some postcards from people on Etsy (which I have a vague plan for using); a bunch of plain towels (which we arguably needed); some art supplies, and more hair coloring, both with a vague "get this in before they shut down for the duration"; some gloves to be sent to Mount Auburn Hospital; and now a hoodie.

The hoodie at least I know I'll use: I've been wanting a new one for months, and then someone mentioned having added to her Etsy store, and both cattitude and I are getting machine-embroidered hoodies.

The plan is not to spend any more money today, except for the already-scheduled supermarket delivery order.

ETA: However, I did check and Lizzy's ice cream sells gift cards. If I can buy one online right now, I will, and use it when they reopen. (Right now I have strawberry and ginger, having used up the black raspberry.)

Given the sad stories I'm hearing from vendors on Ravelry about income loss from canceled events, I think every purchase you make to an independent vendor will be appreciated.
