They're good (Cattitude agrees), and I am definitely using more lemon extract next time I try this variant. I am also wondering whether lemon extract loses potency over time. I just opened the bottle today, and it's been safely in a cardboard box away from the light, but it's the Safeway store brand, so bought sometime before February 2016. (The lack of a use-by date on any of the packaging suggests not.)
