thinking aloud, rather like molasses

I'm thinking slowly today. Say it wrong. Or rather, I'm doing fine at Scrabble and proofreading, but creativity and decisions other than game moves seem difficult.

I dealt with this in part by doing the laundry: it could have waited, but laundry is a good thing to do at times when I'm not concentrating on anything more serious or continuous than nethack. I've promised womzilla the NYRSF proofs by tomorrow at 6; he dropped them off this evening at around that time. That'll force me to get out of the house tomorrow, which means I'll get to the gym: psychologically and in terms of subway time, gym+NYRSF meeting isn't much more trouble than doing either one of those things separately.
