my wrist is healing

My wrist is a lot better since I had the cortisone shot on Friday. It's still not perfect, but already feels much better, and the hand doctor said the medicine would probably need a few days to have its full effect. In fact, I was supposed to wait until Wednesday before calling her if the cortisone wasn't working.

I am still trying to be careful, using the hand less than I would if it was entirely well, and wearing the brace intermittently, depending on what I'm doing at the time.
