Four out of five

The big achievement is that I got to the gym, and did a fairly thorough workout. Not quite my two-hour complete run-through, but the full half hour of cardio, several weight training exercises, and my mat work.

Before that, [livejournal.com profile] cattitude and I bounced around town together. We have deposited checks at our respective banks. I have half a pound of golden Assam tea, and just drank a cup thereof. I also have twelve red marigolds, ready to plant outside when I dig up the energy (tomorrow, I hope). "Four out of five" because I got to the optician's and discovered that my notebook, and hence my eyeglass prescription, were in a different bag than the one I was carrying. Still, a fairly productive day, and we got a good look at the garden behind Jefferson Market Library. The apple tree blooming there has a definite scent--for some reason, the one nearest us, in Inwood Hill Park, has been bright but completely scentless this season.

I dropped some weights slightly, because I hadn't been to the gym in over a fortnight.
