Trying to look on the bright side

I had to turn down an offer of an editing job this morning--not only was it faster turnaround than I could handle (given that I'm going away for the weekend), it called for software I don't have.

But at least the man in Japan is still thinking of me.

(Also, Semagic is having a lot of trouble getting through, or this would have been posted hours ago.)
