What I am reading now
A Stranger in Solondria, by Sofia Samatar. Going along slowly, because it rewards enough attention that I'm not picking it up in those small bits of time before bed, and enjoying myself.
Thicker than Water, by Mike Carey. Fourth in a series about an exorcist in a not-quite-our-future London, because I liked the previous ones. I'm not very far into this; it's getting some of the chunks of time that I'm not up for the Samatar during.
What I am likely to read next
Maybe Banner of the Damned, by Sherwood Smith (I have this as a huge hardcover from the library). Or maybe I'll look for some more nonfiction, just for a change.
[I haven't finished anything lately, but I didn't want to skip two weeks of this in a row. It's not that I don't read (though I read less now than when I traveled by train most days), it's that I'm reading blogs and online serials and news and other things that aren't books.]
