I'm just back from a couple of days in Arlington with
adrian_turtle. Yesterday afternoon, I went to the gym while she did some freelance editing work. (And this morning I did a little bit of freelance proofreading while sitting on her couch.) While I'm job-hunting, Sunday-Tuesday is as plausible a "weekend" visit as Friday-Sunday, and gave me more weekend time with
cattitude.
The branch of the gym I went to was pleasantly uncrowded on a Monday afternoon, and I've used it a few times so I know where the things I use regularly are.
Cardio, 12 minutes, top heart rate 112
Rolled out IT band etc.
Hamstring bridge, 4 sets of 9
Ab work (feet on 55 cm ball), 3 sets of 15
Squats leaning on ball, 3 sets of 15
Calf raises leaning on ball, 3 sets of 15
Opposite arm/leg, 8 pairs
Psoas, 3 with each leg
Stood on foam roller a bit
Biceps curls standing on bosu, 10 pounds each hand, 2 sets of 15
On balance platform: lateral raise, 55 pounds, 2 sets of 12, 50 pounds, 12 on each foot
Hug a tree, 20 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Back exercise, 35 pounds, 12; 25 pounds, 12
