Redbird is a gleeful traveler, as long as she knows where the tea kettle is. Her bag generally contains tea, two or three books, and seven different colors of pen.
Strengths: Inquisitive, cheerful, and creative. Redbird has a good grasp of English grammar, and a willingness to fumble through any of the Romance languages to communicate, especially if food is involved. Lost? She'll sort you out.
Weaknesses: Thinks of more projects than she completes; needs 8-9 hours of sleep every night.
Special Skills: Inventing answers to problems, finding her way around by subway/metro/underground
Weapons: The pen is mightier than the sword
Foods: Tangerines, chocolate, watermelon, bread, tea, duck, lamb, almost anything stir-fried and served over rice

That sounds almost like a recipe. The watermelon may have to be added as a border around the plate after stir-frying the rest.

No, not at all - haven't you ever had the Chinese thing with stir fried dried prawns and water gourd? Forget the Cantonese name. Very refreshing.. Don't know about the chocolate though. As a fondue dessert, melted with the tangerines and lots of Cointreau? Dip in the stale bread (dry out in oven first.) (And of course you tea-smoke the duck, before stir frying it.)

You can see why i used to like Ready Steady Cook so much :-) (Do you get that in USofA?)
