I appear to have a large number of invites (though whether you'll be able to turn those into an account right away is a separate question). If you want one, ask.
I'm still thinking about how I'm going to use google+, and whether it can manage to be something between Facebook (which I find unmanageable and mostly trivial) and Dreamwidth/LJ for me. This will to some extent be emergent, and I think it's too soon to tell.
ETA: I need your email address to send an invite. If you don't want it in public (even in a form like "name at example dot net") send a private message.
